Spatial
From Knowledge Base
Spatial means pertaining to space.
All things must have a location or space that is defined by a reference point within a system. For example the chair is located 5 steps to the right of the door as we enter the room. The door is our point of reference (or origin) and the room is the environment, area of interest or frame of reference.
To define our location we must do it in terms of a reference framework. If we were to describe our position on a road trip from Townsville to Cairns, we would say that we are 250kms north of Townsville or 230kms from Cairns. In this case we have a point of origin such as Townsville or a point of reference either Townsville or Cairns. The framework is that region between Cairns and Townsville.
