Location

The site extends about 35 kilometres from a point on Molly Darling Creek about 5 kilometres east of Pallamana Station, south south-east to the Cape River. The approximate centre of the site is at 20 degrees 39' 35" S, 146 degrees 39' 25" E which is about 76 kilometres south southeast of Charters Towers.

Significance

The site provides an excellent representative example of the extensive, sandy multichannelled stream systems that are very common on the western side of the Burdekin River catchment.
